Coconut Nail Art Review

Since I’m in the middle of my first week of trying to be healthier, I figured that I would post a little review of something new I tried recently.

Disclaimer here: I did not get asked to write this review and I sure didn’t get paid for it. It’s all my own opinion.

I love the idea of pretty fingernails, but I completely suck at painting them. I’ve tried false nails, but I don’t like the feel of them, and they never last for more than a week since I am rough on my hands. Nail polish strips are awesome, but some of them can be rather pricey. I had a friend that did Jamberry nails, and they’re nice, but I had two issues: the price and the amount of time they lasted.

See, I’m rough on my nails. I keep them short deliberately because I do a lot of cooking, multiple rounds of dish washing in a day (no, I don’t have a dishwasher; wish I did), laundry, cleaning, typing, etc. The list goes on. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I want a nail polish strip that’s not only affordable, but will last. I’ve gotta tell ya, I think I’ve found it!

Coconut Nail Art by Incoco. Remember that. They are available at Wal-Mart, and they are affordable! I bought three different designs, and put the first one on on December 29, 2018. They’ve been on almost a week now, and they still look like I just put them on! Granted, there is a little wear and tear on them, but it’s hardly noticeable. Here is a pic from when I first put them on.

As you can see, I keep my nails short! I like them that way! Y’all, they still look like this, and I have kept my regular routine going.

I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on this design, too, which I love! This design is called “It’s Love”. The other two designs I bought are “Sweet Style” and “Sea Goddess”. I am so looking forward to trying them out, but I’m gonna keep these nail strips on as long as I can. I’m just amazed that after almost a week, they’re still going strong. I pick at my nails, I paint, I’m just rough on my hands, but they’re still going! I think they cost around $5. There’s enough nail strips for one application and a cuticle stick and nail file are included in the box.

If you are looking for a nail polish strip that does a good job, I highly recommend these. One thing I did read: wait a little while after application before putting your hands in water. That allows the adhesive to set on the nail.

That’s it for my review of Coconut Nail Art. I hope you go out and try them! Definitely worth the money I spent. 🙂
