This past week has been wild and woolly! I completely bombed on vitamin taking and drinking water. My mind was preoccupied-more on that in a minute- but in spite of all that, my weigh in today was 185.0. And that was with part of a waffle stuffed in my mouth!
So what happened this week that took my attention? Well, one of the members of my household fell on Thursday night and broke their shoulder in four places. That was quite the experience. Friday I cleaned the church and then found out that one of the professors I’d had in Bible college had passed away unexpectedly. Saturday? I really don’t remember much of Saturday or Sunday. Monday was a big down day for me. I think all the events of the weekend caught up with me, and I didn’t move around much at all. Tuesday I got a wee bit of a break as my chiropractor had to cancel our appointment due to illness. We rescheduled for Thursday, and then the orthopedist called to schedule the broken shoulder appointment, and guess when it is? Thursday at the exact same time as the chiropractor. Broken shoulders take priority, so I drove over and cancelled the appointment with my chiropractor. Why did I drive? Well, it seems that my phone will call out and will receive calls, but no one can hear me, and I can’t hear them! Thursday is also when the funeral for the professor is, but I won’t be able to attend since it’s six and a half hours away from where I live.
Like I said, wild and woolly. I’m grateful, though, that the sun is shining and I was able to transplant 12 little trees that the Arbor Day Foundation sent as a thank you for donating. The trees are native to the area, so I’m looking forward to when we can actually get them planted in the ground. I’m also in the process of downsizing my wardrobe. I have a lot of things I don’t wear anymore, and I’d rather donate them for someone who could use them instead of cluttering up my room. I’m also considering selling some of my books on eBay.
It’s almost the end of the week, but I’m going to focus on drinking more water today. I’ll be moving around more, too, since I’m spring cleaning my room. Until next time, stay healthy my friends! 🙂
