Well, the scale has been stepped on. 189.8. Not going to lie, this week was tough. Last week was tough, too, but this week I’ve been battling bloating and general swelling. I started on a new med today, so maybe that will help me out a little.
It’s not just fat. I’m coming to realize that. There’s more going on than just fat. A few days ago, my cheekbones were starting to show. My face was thinner, in other words. Then the day before yesterday, I looked like I’d stuck half a bag of marshmallows in my mouth. Yesterday my face was still puffy, but not as bad.
I wonder if it’s a food I’m eating. My hormone levels are normal, so I’m not sure why I’m showing signs of a hormone imbalance. It’s just weird.
Anyways. I’ve done more cooking this week than I have in a couple of months. I wanted to get back into cooking meals instead of eating out.
Tomorrow my caregivee begins hand therapy. It’s going to be good for them. Their sugar has been getting better, too. A couple of days this week, they only needed one insulin shot during the day, as opposed to the two they normally get.
I haven’t given up. I’ve been busy caregiving, trying to keep the house clean and bills paid. I think I may have a system down, but we’ll see. 😁
Until next time, stay healthy my friends! ❤️
