Merry Christmas, everyone! I haven’t weighed myself, and I probably won’t this week. Too much delicious food lurking around my kitchen. 😂
I am, however, noticing that I’m losing inches. A few months back, I had purchased a dress for my best friend’s wedding (which ended up not happening), and the dress had some issues going over my hips. Well, I decided to go to my church’s Christmas Eve service last night, and I wanted to wear the dress. I’ll admit I was nervous to put the dress on. I didn’t know if it would fit or not, but I gave it a shot. I had no trouble at all getting it over my hips! Slid on like I’d been greased in butter. Yay! I didn’t have to break out my girdle! 😂
Christmas dinner is in full swing. It’s only two of us, me and my caregivee, but I’m making extra for the neighbor across the street. They don’t have much, and everyone deserves a nice Christmas dinner.
I realize I haven’t even come close to my goal weight this year, but that doesn’t mean I’m giving up. Quite the opposite. I’m going to use 2020 as another opportunity to continue getting healthier and work on getting to a healthy weight. I’d love to have some weight off before my next annual physical in April. I’d like my doctor to be pleasantly surprised.
