Good morning, people. Welcome to Saturday. My back is mostly back to normal now. I had a couple of days there where I could barely move. My knee has also decided to start clicking when I walk. I’m assuming that’s not a good thing.
I ended up adding another supplement to my daily routine. Adrenal support. My chiropractor had given it to me a couple of months ago, claiming that I have the symptoms of adrenal fatigue, and I’d taken it for a little while, but had stopped. My back was hurting so bad the other day that I decided to try it. Within about an hour the pain was barely there, so maybe my adrenal glands are just crying for a vacation.
Today is the day I finally and begrudgingly take down the Christmas tree. I was supposed to do it last weekend, but couldn’t bring myself to it. Taking down the Christmas tree is, for me, the most depressing day of the year. I actually have found myself on the verge of tears as I put the ornaments back in their boxes. Christmas is my favorite season. It’s my favorite holiday. I hate seeing something that is so comforting and uplifting to me go away. Yes, I know that Christmas will be back in December, but I try to hold on to it for as long as I possibly can.
I’ve done a little research into yoga and Pilates, and I’ve found a few beginner videos of each. Starting Monday, I’ll give the Pilates a shot. Hopefully I won’t cause more damage to my spine. On top of all that, today is my grocery shopping day, and we are expecting some pretty severe weather this afternoon. I absolutely love thunderstorms, so maybe God is sending some my way to cheer me up as I take the tree down.
That’s all I have for today, folks. I’m sorry I haven’t written in a couple of days. I’ve been keeping heat on my spine and trying to keep up with the house and the bills and all that. Until next time, stay healthy my friends, and be careful what exercises you do!
