Today’s Bible Reading- Genesis Chapters 6-8 and Matthew Chapter 3
Good Morning, my friends! I hope y’all are well this morning. My headache is threatening to come back today. I think it’s stress related.
Now that a new year is upon us, I’m renovating my healthy habits. That means switching up my vitamins, being more friendly towards drinking water, and watching what I’m eating.
Today’s breakfast was a gluten free blueberry muffin made with zucchini and carrots. I also had some chicken sausage made with apples and Gouda cheese. The muffin was a lot smaller than I was expecting, so I added a piece of toast with butter. All that was chased down with a cup of coffee with peppermint mocha creamer. Yum! The sausage wasn’t what I’d thought it would be. I was expecting breakfast sausage flavor, but got more of a bratwurst-style flavor instead.
Overall, I’d give the breakfast four stars. I think had the muffin been larger, there would be an extra star in there, but it was pretty tiny.
Lunch today will be cottage cheese, fruit, and celery with peanut butter. I want my lunches to be lighter so I can enjoy a good supper.
Today’s supper will be a copycat version of Long John Silver’s chicken, french fries and a salad. I really hope the chicken comes out tasty.
Other than that, today’s life happenings include keeping the checkbook balanced, the bills paid, the laundry clean, and searching for deals on sock yarn and knitting needles. I found a pattern for socks that I want to try, so I printed that out. It’ll be interesting to see how things turn out.
That’s my day for today, folks. I hope y’all have a great day filled with wonderful surprises. Until next time, stay healthy my friends! ❤
