Rainy Days

Today’s Bible Reading- Genesis Chapters 25-26 & Matthew Chapter 9 Verses 1-17.

Good morning, my friends. I hope y’all are doing well. Today is going to be a rainy and cold day. Thank God for heaters and warm clothes.

Yesterday I finished taking down the Christmas decorations and putting them away. It’s hard to say until next time to them, but I look forward to bringing them out again in November, Lord willing. The door wreath and the garland are still up, and I’ll probably keep them up until spring.

I forgot to mention on Saturday that I’d made some zucchini muffins. I found a recipe online for them, and decided to try my hand at them. They turned out quite tasty! I made six muffins in the hopes of putting them in the fridge and eating one at breakfast this week. Unfortunately, there’s only two left now. On the bright side, I have enough ingredients to make another batch!

This week’s meals are geared for comfort. I also had to work with what’s on sale. One of our meals this week will be beef ribs. I’ve never made them before, but am going to attempt to oven roast them. Pray for me, peeps. A bad rib is a tough rib.

Since today will be rainy, I’m going to focus on playing catch-up with the laundry. Maybe work on mom’s blanket since her birthday is this coming Saturday.

That’s about all I have for now. I still have to shower and dress, and there are cats outside waiting for breakfast. Gracie shared a bit of coffee cake with me this morning. I didn’t give her much, but she sure enjoyed it.

Until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
