Today’s Bible Reading- Genesis Chapters 49-50 & Matthew Chapter 15 Verses 1-20.
Happy almost noon friends. It was a rough night for me last night. I fell asleep early and slept hard, but woke up drenched in sweat. It was only 11 pm. I tossed and turned and fell asleep again, but woke up around 3 am again drenched in sweat. I got up, used the restroom, took my medicine and tried to go back to sleep. I’m not sure what time I did fall asleep, but I woke up at 8 this morning.
I’m just now getting myself around. It looks like it’ll be a cool and drizzly day today. The bank accounts are balanced for now, and yesterday we received our new debit cards. I’m getting more and more nervous about the merger. I know change happens, but this doesn’t have a good feel to it. Maybe it’s just me, but the book they sent us seems like they’re going to be putting in a lot of charges for no reason. I don’t know. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt until I get a chance to experience it all myself.
The sock is getting better. Right now I’m working on the foot portion. The pattern is divided into portions: toe, foot, gusset, heel, heel flap and leg. Hopefully I can start on the gusset portion today. The yarn works up incredibly pretty. The pattern is so neat. I’m eager to see the finished product.
That’s about all the news for now. Strangely, it looks as if we won’t be getting our ice storm this month. Unless the weather changes, it’ll be somewhat mild all the way into February.
Supper will be a repeat of last night: baked spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. I was supposed to make lemon fried chicken, but there’s enough spaghetti left over for another meal. I’ll make the chicken on Sunday.
That’s all for now. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
