Today’s Bible Reading- Exodus Chapters 22-24 & Matthew Chapter 20 Verses 17-34.
Good morning friends! I hope you slept well. It’s a bit nippy here today! Our high is only going to be 47. 🥶. Thank God for some sunshine!
I have some good news. The boxes finally went to the recycling center yesterday! 🥳. I also checked on the roses and they are doing quite well. The one has a few yellow leaves at the bottom, but there’s a lot of new growth. I really believe that God is helping them out because I don’t know what I’m doing. While checking on the roses, I made a happy discovery. The tulips are coming up! Woo hoo! I’m so excited! I have no idea what colors they’ll be, but it’s just awesome to know they’re growing. We did lose one tulip bulb, though. The neighbor’s cats dug it up. When I noticed it, I buried it again, but they dug it up again. Crazy cats. 😒
In other news, I have one more row to finish the gusset portion of the sock. I’m definitely going to do that after I finish writing here, and then I’ll be watching videos to learn wrapping and turning.
My laundry is mostly caught up, so today is basically a chill day. A chilly day to chill.😂. Gracie has been up to her old tricks. She’s gotten her appetite back and I’ve had to get on her like a toddler. She likes feminine hygiene pads. Actually, she likes the plastic they’re wrapped in, so she steals them out of the bathroom. I had to take one from her today. She was trotting out of the bathroom with it in her mouth. I’ll have to move the box to somewhere where she can’t reach. I’ve always said that cats are perpetual toddlers, and this behavior really solidifies that thought for me.😂
Well, that is my update for today. I have no idea what I’m making for supper, but we do have the stuff to make tomato soup and grilled cheese. Since the weather is cold, that may be the best option.
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤️
