It’s Taco Tuesday!

Today’s Bible Reading- Leviticus Chapters 4-6 & Matthew Chapter 25 Verses 1-30.

Good morning, friends. I hope you’re well. I’m in a good mood this morning. Do you know why? Because it’s Taco Tuesday! Yes. I am that person that loves tacos. They’re a portable salad with meat. They’re crunchy, salty, savory and spicy. Mm. I’m hungry now.

Besides the craving for tacos, life is okay. I took the sock along with me to Mom’s doctor appointment, which went really well. She had a lot of good news. Thank You, Jesus! They also offered to take care of something for her at no charge that would’ve cost us a bit of money to do on our own. That’s pretty awesome!

The toilet drama continues. It turns out that some kind of gasket wore out, but the one my dad bought was too small (even though it was the biggest one the store had), and no store has a bigger one in stock. Bummer. A new one has been ordered, but it’ll take two weeks to get here. At least we have another toilet to use!

I digress, though. I was talking about the sock. I took it with me to Mom’s appointment and sat in the car waiting for her. I managed to get quite a few rounds in! That’s one thing I really like about crochet. It turns out quicker than knitting. Knitting comes out softer, though.

Weather-wise, it looks like the wintry weather will now be just really cold rain. There’s still potential for it to change, but it’s getting slimmer. Today will be partly sunny and a high of 63.

In other news, Gracie hasn’t enjoyed the change of Pop being here. She’s been staying under my bed most of the day. I’ve even had to take her wet food back into my room so she will eat. Gives new meaning to the phrase ‘scaredy cat’. She is a Ragdoll, though only partially, and they are known to be of that temperament.

Well, that’s my update for today. Since it’ll be warmer I may go ahead and take the glass covers off the roses and let them breathe today.

Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
