Today’s Bible Reading-Numbers Chapters 17-19 & Mark Chapter 6 Verses 33-56.
Good morning, friends! I know the title mentions dancing, but I wonder if it’s more a game of tic-tac-toe. Yesterday, we made it into the 70s, the sun was bright, barely a cloud in the sky. Today? Our high will be 53 degrees with storms. It’s already 52 degrees out. It sounds like we may have the potential for some pretty nasty storms today, too.
Today also happens to be the day I make my grocery order and pick it up. That’ll be fun. I don’t mind driving in rain, though. I know which roads to use to avoid standing water.
Gracie is currently sitting on my bed and watching the cardinals and jays battle for the bird feeder. We also have a ton of robins roaming the grass and looking for worms. Spring is definitely in the air, but today is a reminder that winter is still upon us.
The roses are doing well, and the tulips are steadily growing. I think all this rain will really help them. I’ll take the straw bed up after the last frost has come, which may be in April some time.
I may have mentioned this last night, but if not okay. When I was in Tractor Supply the other day, I noticed they carry Burpee seeds! I definitely will be going back to get some stuff for the garden. I want to grow different things this year. Things that I know we’ll eat. Zucchini for starters. I’d love to try carrots again. Tomatoes as usual. I also have this deep desire to try to plant pumpkin. I want to make a pumpkin pie from scratch. I’d also like to try to grow onions and potatoes. I know. It’s a lot, but I really love gardening. I wouldn’t mind having an “urban homestead”. I’m not really in an urban area, but calling it a rural homestead seems a bit redundant.
Well, I guess that’s all for now. I have to get ready for the day. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
