Good Things

Today’s Bible Reading- Numbers Chapters 23-25 & Mark Chapter 8 Verses 1-21.

Good morning, friends! I hope you’re well today. I had quite the weekend!

Saturday was a downer day for me mentally, but I did manage to spend half the morning working on the bathroom sink. It’s been clogged for probably a month or better, and Mom had asked Pop to clear it but I think he forgot to. He had a lot of other projects demanding his time while he was home. I should note that the sink, although clogged, would drain. Just very slowly.😁

I decided to take up the task. It was gross and stinky and I just about threw up, but the sink is functioning once again! Then we had pizza for supper on Saturday night, but the sauce was a bit funky and both Mom and I got upset stomachs.😶

Sunday morning, I felt God asking me to go visit a church where a friend of mine pastors. I was scared out of my noodle, but I’ve learned that when God asks you to do something, you should do it. So, I got ready to go and I went. On the way there, the tire light came on, and I had to find a gas station that had an air pump. Once the tire that was the issue was filled, I kept on the journey. The church is about an hour away from my house, but it’s a pretty drive. I haven’t been around that many people in at least a year, so I felt very awkward. It was good to see friends, though, and I hope to go back soon.

Now on to this morning. It’s chilly, and we had a rain storm earlier this morning. It was a surprise storm! I didn’t think we were supposed to have anything like that today. The oak trees have tons of buds on them, and the Bradford pear is about to bloom. I have some exciting news though! The tulips are pushing through! I have a pinkish purplish one and a yellow one!

I also had a big surprise this morning. The daffodils bloomed! Mom planted these things ages ago, and they bloom every year. She planted a bunch of bulbs, but only this bulb actually came through for us.

Today’s goals include cleaning Gracie’s fountain and getting the sheets changed on the beds. I also have to catch up on the bank balances and get some laundry done. It’s a good day today.

Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
