Life

A Day Late

Today’s Bible Reading- Deuteronomy Chapters 20-22 & Mark Chapter 14 Verses 26-50.

Happy Sunday, friends. I apologize for not writing yesterday. It was quite an active day. Today’s high is near 80 degrees and sunny. I may spend some time sitting on the porch.

As I was saying, yesterday was active. I had intended on going to Petco and take some boxes to the recycling center, but Gracie woke Mom up puking on her bed. Well, she was dry heaving. Nothing came up. I was concerned about maybe the wet food I’d gotten had gone bad because it has a habit of doing that, so I got online to see what was available at Petsmart. Petsmart is about a 25 minute drive from my house, so I can get there and back quickly.

Alas, Petsmart doesn’t carry the same brand of food, but I can find other things that are just as good. While I was online, though, I was asking God what was causing Gracie so much difficulty. No sooner had I asked in my head, then Gracie walks into the room, walks over to some bags from Lowe’s that had gardening tools yet to put away, and she starts to munch on the Lowe’s bag. I also caught her twice this morning munching on the trash bag that’s in the trash can in my room. *sigh* Have I mentioned before that cats are perpetual toddlers?

Needless to say, Gracie is having tummy troubles today. Tabitha is back to eating though, so that’s a plus. She wanted fish. I’m also keeping their dry food in the fridge so it stays fresh.

After dealing with having to go out and purchase cat food in the early hours of Saturday morning, I stopped by Tractor Supply to get a sun hat. It’s more like a baseball cap, but it does the job and it’s my favorite color: red. I did get the boxes to the recycling center, and I planted marigold seeds. I also cleaned the flower bed in front of the porch, washed the porch and cat houses, got their blankets inside to be washed, and I got the car washed. It was a pretty busy day yesterday. Today, therefore, is my day of rest. Meatloaf is what’s for dinner, and I’m looking forward to it. Since the porch looks and smells much better, I may sit outside today for a while. Maybe read a book or take my tablet out and watch a movie. I just want to enjoy the sunshine today.

That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
