Gardens and Goals

Today’s Bible Reading- Joshua Chapters 19-20 & Luke Chapter 5 Verses 17-39.

Good morning, friends! It’s a beautiful sunny morning here today. Our high is projected to be 78 degrees with some afternoon thunderstorms possible.

Gracie had a good day yesterday. She ate all her dry food, and her wet food. She was very alert. God sustained her once again. She was up and about all of last night, so she’s now settled in for her morning sleep. I checked my email this morning and had the confirmation link for her appointment this coming Tuesday. To say I’m scared is an understatement, but I’m praying that things are fixable and won’t cost an arm and a leg.

My goals for today include purchasing more cat food. I should’ve done it yesterday while I was out, but I didn’t think about it until after I’d gotten home. It’s not a big deal. Just needs to be done because I don’t have any more wet food for them.

If possible, I’d also like to work in the garden a bit today before the rain comes. Maybe get another row de-grassed. Speaking of gardens, I now have some almost salmon colored tulips coming up. Just gorgeous. I’m glad I planted them. The other flower bed has started sprouting, so there’s another thing to look forward to.

The dogwood is starting to get its leaves. All the other dogwoods in the neighborhood have already bloomed, and I don’t know why this one is behind schedule. In all honesty, it’s never actually bloomed, so maybe we have a dud on our hands. The leaves are beautiful, though, and I enjoy the shade in the summertime.

Well, that’s my update for today. I know it’s not much, but I’d like to get out and back so I can get some work done before the rain hits. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
