Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Samuel Chapters 10-12 & Luke Chapter 13 Verses 22-35.
Good morning, friends. It is quite the early morning for me today. I thought I’d be sleeping right now, yet here I am. It’s currently 5:03 in the morning here. I’ve been up for a good half hour. I originally woke up at 3:30, but I took my thyroid medication and went back to sleep. For an hour.
So, here I sit, writing on my iPad instead of my laptop, and thinking about Gracie’s surgery today.
It’s a big day for us all. I’m trying to commit it to the Lord and rest in the fact that He is in control, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. I’ll be praying for her today and that her surgery goes well and that she responds well, and that her recovery is smooth. I’d very much appreciate it if y’all could help me pray for those things as well.
Changing the subject, I finished the garden yesterday! It’s exciting! 🥳 I was out there for quite a while, and have consequently gotten a pretty good sunburn. I didn’t have any aloe to put on it, but I found an article claiming that coconut oil is a good second. So, I tried that! My skin isn’t greasy, so maybe the coconut oil has helped. I’ll still probably go pick up some aloe, though. It’s always good to have around.
I don’t have much else to say my friends. Our yearly battle with ants has begun. I have some Terro set up, but I think they may be wise to it now. 😶 I’ll probably put another trap down, though. Thank God the garden is in, though! Wow. A good couple of weeks late, but I’m thankful to have something to capture my attention while dealing with everything else going on.
Oh! Our weather! Today is supposed to be a high of 81 with a few clouds here and there. Other than that, it’s too early to plan much of anything. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
