Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Samuel Chapters 29-31 & Luke Chapter 17 Verses 1-19.
Good morning, friends. I hope you’re well. I’m exhausted.
The convention went well, but I didn’t get home until after midnight. Gracie had missed her antibiotic dose because I was at the convention, and I gave it to her when I got home. Because of that, I had to stay up and wait last night to give her the meds again. I’m tired. I honestly thought I’d written yesterday, so please forgive my loss of marbles. My goodness. Exhaustion does things to the mind for sure!
I guess we’ll end up playing some catch up this weekend as well. I’m not even sure what day it is right now, either. Apparently…………it’s Wednesday.
I took the time yesterday to clean my room a little bit. I was so tired from the convention that yesterday was a park it and chill day. Gracie enjoyed having me out in the living room all day. I did take the time to clean my window a/c unit and turn it on. I got pretty toasty yesterday. I also changed my sheets, did some laundry, and vacuumed. I finished my second sock prototype, but I’ve found out something. My foot is just too wide for these instructions! I do have a naturally wide foot, but sheesh! I had loose stitches, too. The sock has plenty of stretch, but I need a pattern that accommodates a wide foot. The yarn is just too pretty and expensive to scrap, so I’ll find something to use it for. I have a pattern for a mobile. You crochet these little hearts and hang them from a quilting hoop. It’s super cute. I have a large quilting hoop, so that’s a plus. I also have plenty of yarn!
In my garden, the peas are really starting to grow, and the onions have revived! I may lose those two tomato plants, but the third one is super healthy. I also still have Roma seeds, so maybe I can plant some. Something has been digging in my carrot row, and I saw a huge bunny in the neighbor’s yard this morning, so I don’t know if I’ll get carrots. At least I’m trying!
Well, that’s my update for today, folks. Our high for today is supposed to be sunny and 66 degrees. A nice day, really. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
