Today’s Bible Reading- 2 Samuel Chapters 8-9 & Luke Chapter 19 Verses 1-27.
Good morning, friends. I’m back on my iPad today. Someone felt a bit clingy this morning.🥴
It’s been a good morning so far with the exception of Gracie howling for attention. She really hates being isolated from people. I cleaned her kennel and her litter box, changed her water and gave her fresh food, but she just wanted some human contact. She curled at my lap while I was sitting on the floor changing her bedding, and just lay there happy as a little lark.
My goals today are to enjoy life. The bills are paid, the groceries are in and I planted the tomato seeds yesterday. Speaking of the garden, my potato plants are starting to poke through! And so are the cucumber and zucchini! 🥳. That is so exciting! I love zucchini. Especially zucchini bread. You can’t beat a cucumber straight from the garden, either. Since I’m a total newcomer to growing potatoes, I’ve been trying to find some good directions on how to take care of them. I’m growing the Yukon Gold variety.
Today is going to be a rainy day. The rain has already started, and I am so grateful for it. The garden will get a good watering. That’ll really help the tomato seeds, too. There’s chitter chatter of another frost coming this coming week. If that’s the case, I’ll have to cover the peas. This is definitely an unusual year for us in weather! It’s been a very chilly spring.
The orchids are doing well. I’ve been trying my best to take good care of them. I fertilized them yesterday, and they really enjoy being at the window to get some light.
Well, that’s my update for today. I did manage to find a potential candidate for a new sock pattern. I’ll have to purchase it, but it only costs about a dollar. The chatter on this pattern is that it’s super simple and easy to do. We shall see. I’ll probably have to go get more yarn and some knitting needles. I can use the rest of the Blue Vapor to make something else. Maybe some pacifier clips or something. We’ll see. 😊
Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
