Today’s Bible Reading- 2 Samuel Chapters 21-22 & Luke Chapter 22 Verses 1-30.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It looks as if we’ll be having another beautiful, warm, humid day today. Our high will be 84 degrees and it’ll be mostly sunny with humidity in the 90% range.
The potato plants have taken off! I had to put more mulch on them this morning. I think the bunnies got a hold of not only my carrots, but my cucumber plants as well. Boo. The onions are still super happy and no sign of Roma tomato plants yet. The peas are really growing up and I have at least two zucchini plants.
Gracie is unhappy with me this morning. I’ve been letting her out of her kennel for a little bit with the rule that if she tries to take off, she has to go back in the kennel. Well, this morning, she was fine. Laying on her quilt while I cleaned her kennels out and changed her food and water, and scooped her litter box. Then Mom came out into the kitchen and Gracie decided to follow along. She wouldn’t go back to the blanket after that, so I had to put her back in the kennel. On the bright side, tomorrow we’ll find out if she can have her cone off, be let loose to roam the house, or possibly both things together. I hope it’s both because she’s starting to drive me nuts a little bit. I’m glad she’s stir crazy, but man, the howling. Sometimes she does it for a couple of hours.
I already have the bank account balanced out, cats fed, bed made, my breakfast smoothie is in front of me, my first cup of coffee has been drunk, I’m showered and dressed, and a new layer of mulch is on the potato plants. Busy morning! I may break down and purchase a webcam for my computer. There have been meetings that I’ve been invited to, and they are all virtual as the people are from all over the country. I was able to attend a meeting with my ipad, but I’d prefer to use my laptop. The webcam I’m looking at is on sale currently, and it’s quite affordable. Normally it’s around $100, but it’s on sale for $70. It’s a very reputable brand, too. Logitech. I have a wireless keyboard from them.
I had to take a pause on the sock. It was getting very frustrating. I’ve started over I don’t know how many times now. When I get frustrated, my stitches get tight. Then, I end up either breaking the yarn or breaking the needle from holding it so tight. I’m going to get it, though. I’m not giving up.
That’s my update for today, folks. My laundry is done, so I don’t have that to worry about. I still need to make my menu for next week. The city council let the mask mandate expire, so I can go without my muzzle now! Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
