A Day of Rest

Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 1-2 & Luke Chapter 22 Verses 54-71.

Happy Sunday, my friends! Yesterday was quite the day! I didn’t get to sleep until after two in the morning, and then I woke up at six in the morning. Needless to say, I was pretty tired much of Saturday.

I did manage to get my menu put together, and then I went grocery shopping. First to get our food, and then to get the cat food. It was nice to be out and about .

When I came home, I put the groceries away and then Mom suggested going ahead to get supper. We’re both trying to get back into the intermittent fasting, so eating supper early wouldn’t be a problem.

I forgot to mention that as I was feeding the cats breakfast yesterday, the new neighbor’s dog got out and came over to chase some cats. The dog’s name is Max, and he was having an absolute blast running around the yard. 😂. I got great joy out of it. The neighbors kept apologizing, but I told them it was fine. It keeps our other neighbor’s cats away.

Another thing I did yesterday was I fixed the mulch around the potato plants. The garden is looking good overall, but I think I’ve lost half my lettuce and all my carrots. The bunnies must be quite happy.🐇.

Well, today is a chill day for us. I’ll probably not do much of anything. Grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and a summery salad are the menu for today. I’m going to cut up a cucumber and a zucchini and toss them in Italian dressing. I was going to add tomato, but I forgot to get some at the store yesterday.

That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
