A Day Out

Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 6-7 & Luke Chapter 23 Verses 26-43.

Good morning, friends! I hope you’re well. It’s shaping up to be a humid day today. Our high is projected to be 77 degrees, and we have an 80% chance of rain. Currently, it’s 67 degrees and our humidity is 100%.

When I woke up this morning, there was a beautiful fog out, but it’s starting to lift slowly. I noticed in our neighbor’s back yard one of the bunnies munching on the grass. I think it’s probably the mama bunny. The daddy bunny is huge! I mistook him for a small dog. I just hope they don’t eat my garden away.

Gracie is doing fairly well today. She actually jumped onto my bed this morning and had a power nap. Right now, she’s climbing into the portable bed I made her. What I did was I took one of the disposable litter boxes and put her favorite quilt in it. Voila! Instant bed and it didn’t cost me anything. She loves it! I can move it around the house, too, so that’s a plus.

Mom wants to go out and about today, so that’ll be our day. I need to balance the bank accounts as well and make sure some purchases of mine have come through. Other than that, it looks to be a day of rest from the sock. That’s okay. My fingers are a bit sore today. One thing I would like to do is spray a little more neem oil on the roses. Since we’re expecting rain, though, I’ll hold off for a drier day. I do need to check the garden and make sure that the potato plants are okay.

That’s my update for today, folks. I need to shower and dress and feed the cats. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
