Just Another Friday

Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Kings Chapters 14-15 & John Chapter 1 Verses 1-28.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s a bit chilly today! Our high will be in the upper 60s, but there will be sunshine! No rain is expected today, either.

I did manage to get my sheets washed yesterday, but I started feeling bad physically, and didn’t get my sheets back on before bed. I had only washed the blanket and top sheet, so I had the fitted sheet and a Sherpa blanket to sleep with. It was just right!

I also managed to get my room vacuumed, so that’s a plus. My feeling unwell is being caused by allergies. I wasn’t sure yesterday, but this morning as I was washing my hands, the second I turned the tap on, my ears started to pop and crackle. That’s classic allergies for me. It’s probably all the getting on my knees and working so close to the ground.

Gracie took over my computer chair, so I’m using my iPad today. She’s doing fairly well. She’s working on another hairball. I have yet to change her food and water this morning, and I also need to get around and get the other cats fed. Tabitha has gone missing, so either she was picked up, or she’s met some demise.

My plans for today are fairly simple. Balance the bank accounts, grocery shopping, and begin working on the front flower bed. I failed to put a weed barrier down before I laid the rock, and now everything is going crazy. So I need to pick up the rocks and lay down the barrier. I’ll need to purchase some more rock as well, although I’m leaning more towards pea gravel. It hit me yesterday the the flower bed shape is a trapezoid, so I need to find the square footage of that before I go out to get the gravel. I do have some allergy medicine, but I hesitate using it. It’s emergency use only for me.

That’s all for now folks. It looks as if my neighbor’s house may be on the verge of selling, as they are there today clearing out the back workshop. I hope we have pleasant new neighbors. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤️
