Today’s Bible Reading- 2 Kings Chapters 1-5 & John Chapter 3 Verse 22 – Chapter 4 Verse 30.
Good morning friends. It’s a rainy morning here. Our high is expected to be 66 degrees and it’s going to rain most of the day. Thank you Jesus for watering the garden and the flowers!
Gracie gave up another hair ball at some point in the night. On my freshly washed sheets and bedspread. It’s like taking care of a kid, you know? She seems like she doesn’t feel well today, but she usually acts like that on rainy days. I don’t know. Just observations.
Yesterday was a long morning. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon working on data entry. Then, it was time to work on supper. I made the chicken fried steak. I used cubed pork steak instead of beef. It was on sale last week. I think I paid around $3 for the pack I got. I attempted to make milk gravy, a food item that I’ve not yet mastered. It came out halfway decent but still needed something. I also made mashed potatoes and heated up a vegetable blend in a garlic sauce.
I’m a day late with tacos, but that’s okay. They were delicious last week! I used tostada shells instead of the regular taco shells. So good. I think I had about 4 or 5 last week. Mom really enjoyed them, too. I may pick some lettuce from the garden to put on our tacos tonight.
I have another load or two of laundry to get done, so today would be a great day for that. It’s Wednesday, so that means browsing the grocery ads. I also need to do a midweek check of the bank accounts.
That’s pretty much my day, folks. With gas shortages around my state, going out is a necessity. I should invest in a bike, but they are incredibly expensive! I’ve been looking at prices for them, and they are around $200 ! 😱 Yikes!
That’s all I have for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
