Warm Days and Homemade Bread

Today’s Bible Reading- 1 Chronicles Chapters 6-7 & John Chapter 8 Verses 21-38.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s going to be another warm day today. Our high is expected to be 86 degrees, and sunny with no chance of rain.

The house smells like bread this morning. I’m trying my hand at making naan. Mom and I were introduced to it when I purchased some at the store, and we are absolutely hooked! It’s small and fluffy and chewy and delicious. You can make sandwiches with it, or use it as taco shells. Naan is so versatile!

Anyways. I have the dough proofing right now. It’ll be ready to cook in a little over 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I’m writing to you and drinking my now cold coffee.

Gracie is eagerly awaiting her wet food. I had to drive to the pet store an hour away to pick up some lamb cat food. She’ll be getting that once a day. After those cans are through, I may switch to using one flavor but in larger cans. It sure would be less of a hassle.

Everything is in for the week, and the bills are paid, so today will be laundry day and maybe starting on the second sock. That’s a big maybe. I’m pretty tired today. I do need to check on the garden, though, and I definitely need to give it a good water. These next few days are going to go up into the 90s with no rain in sight. I may end up watering the garden a couple of times next week.

That’s all I have for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
