It’s an Overcast Day in the Neighborhood.

Today’s Bible Reading- Esther Chapters 1-10 & Acts Chapters 5-6.

Good morning, friends. I hope you’re well. It’s an overcast day here today. Our high is expected to be 81° with no chance of rain.

I had a post all written yesterday with a much smaller Bible reading, but I didn’t post it. Why? Well, I thought I had posted it. 🥴. I sincerely thought I’d posted but hadn’t named it, and I was planning to come in today and name this untitled thing. Then I find it’s a draft. I’m sorry. I truly am. On the bright side, Esther is an easy book to get through, and Acts chapters fly by.

The garden gave me an over abundance of cucumbers this week and I ended up giving a large sackful to a local food bank. Last night’s supper was another sausage hash with white sweet potatoes and a zucchini from the garden! I was trying to fool my mom with the sweet potatoes, but she could still taste them. 😂.

Sadly, Slinky has come up missing. She went missing some time between Tuesday night and yesterday morning. Slowly but surely, the cats are disappearing one by one. It truly is a mystery. One neighbor suggested coyote. It’s possible.

Today we are planning to go and get our fishing licenses. Mom and Pop are both old enough for the lifetime ones, but I’ll probably get an annual one.

Other than that, it’s a slow day. I may check the garden again, and I think I’ll grill burgers for supper. I’d also like to go to the store today if we have time. We do need some bread for the burgers, though, and some mayonnaise.

That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
