Today’s Bible Reading- Job Chapters 1-3 and Acts Chapter 7 Verses 1-22.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I had a good night’s sleep and am ready for a new day.
Slinky is still missing. I think she’s probably either been catnapped or killed. I would prefer the former, but the latter is probably more realistic. It’s a shame, really. Slinky was a good cat. Very friendly.
The fam is going on an adventure today! We drove up to the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) office yesterday and got our fishing licenses. Mine is just an annual freshwater license, but Mom and Pop opted for the senior lifetime hunting and fishing license. All together it cost us around $27 for all three licenses. Today we are planning on going to a local fishing spot and try our hand at catching some bass. Bass is a native fish around here, as is bream and crappie, so we’ll see what we catch!
Not much is planned for today, folks. I have yet to go to the grocery store, but we still have plenty of meat. I think I’ll harvest the potatoes around the Fourth of July, and then I’ll clear the area and get my pumpkins going.
Our weather today is going to be a high of 84 degrees with a 10% chance of rain. Not a bad day to go fishing! My parents seem really excited to be going. It’s something they have always enjoyed doing together. I’m hoping for a relaxing day.
That’s all for now, folks. I’m behind schedule feeding the furballs, and Gracie has let me know. She’s hanging around waiting for her morning wet food. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.<3
