Today’s Bible Reading- Job Chapters 4-9 & Acts Chapter 7 Verses 23-60.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s a foggy morning here. Our high is expected to be 88° with a 20% chance of rain.
Yesterday was a busy/recovery day. I was sidetracked from reading my Bible and praying, but I finally finished last night before I climbed in bed.
We went fishing Friday evening and didn’t get home until 11 pm. We were so tired. So tired. Pop didn’t even get the equipment out of my car. I locked everything up and we just went straight to bed.
Saturday morning, we all slept in. The cats didn’t get fed until after 9 in the morning, and it was pretty muggy out. I did a garden harvest yesterday morning as well, and got two zucchini and another load of cucumbers.
Pop attached the trailer to his car yesterday and he spent the morning getting stuff packed up. He left for Gram’s around 11 or 11:30 yesterday morning.
I was crazy tired and so was Mom, so we didn’t get much accomplished. At all. It’s just been a different sort of weekend! I did go out and pick up some sandwich materials, but I didn’t go grocery shopping as normal. I may regret that, but I can go tomorrow morning.
I did give Pop my garden haul to give to Gram. I hope she likes them! She used to grow zucchini, so I know she can use those, but I’m not sure about the cukes. Knowing her, she’ll find a purpose for them. 🙂
That’s my update for now, folks. I have yet to get coffee and get my Bible reading caught up. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤️
