Rain, Docs and Phone Calls

Today’s Bible Reading- Job Chapters 33-37 & Acts Chapter 13 Verse 26- Chapter 14 Verse 28.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. We are expecting a high of 88* with a 50% chance of rain today. The rain should be coming this afternoon, but it’s very overcast at the moment.

Today Mom has a doctor appointment, and it’s at 10 this morning, so we have to rush around a little bit. I haven’t fed the cats yet or had my shower, but I have read my Bible, and I am getting ready to snarf down a bowl of grits.

I had a missed phone call yesterday, and they left a voicemail. It was the company I applied to last week. They would like to talk to me about the housekeeping job. I don’t know if I’ll get the job because there are a lot of companies that are requiring the ‘Rona vaccine, and I will not be getting it. I will probably call them back, though, while Mom is at the doctor’s appointment. Or call them around lunch time if Mom is wanting me to go in there with her. We’ll see. I honestly didn’t think that I’d hear from them. They’re either desperate or they asked HR to send my resume through. Either way, thank the Lord above that they at least have called and would like to chat. His will be done. If I get this job, it would help out greatly, no matter what the pay is. Every little bit helps.

In other news, I’ve had to flick off two caterpillars from the tomato plant. Grr. One of them put a nice sized hole in the largest tomato. I guess I’ll have to get the neem oil out again. I haven’t checked on the pumpkin seeds either, so I may do that when we get home.

My friends, that’s all I have for now. I have cats to feed, a shower to take, and we have to be on the road in a little over an hour to get to the doctor. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
