Gettin’ Low

Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 4-6 & Acts Chapter 16 Verses 16-40.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I’ve had a lovely start to the week. The chicken I meant to grill yesterday went bad, so I wasn’t able to use it, so I figured I would use the ground beef that had been thawing out and make a stroganoff. The beef, too, had gone wonky. 😶. So yesterday, Mom and I had fast food. It was from a new place and it was okay, but nothing special. Not a lot of flavor, really.

So this morning, I wake up and get the coffee going. I barely have enough creamer for two cups of coffee. 🥴. To say that we are low on groceries would be an understatement. I had to give the cats just plain dry food yesterday because I wanted to save the last two cans for today. Needless to say, there will be grocery shopping today.

Today’s weather is supposed to be a high of 86° with a 50% chance of rain this afternoon. Currently, it’s pretty overcast. We had a small thunderstorm yesterday afternoon, and it looks like we may have a few rainy days this week as well.

I don’t know why I am so exhausted, but I sure am. Just very low energy today. It could be the weather, though.

Gracie is doing well. She had her morning nom noms and finished off her bowl of dry food. I think she’s waiting around for wet food, but it’ll be a few minutes before that happens. I want to read my Bible and get some coffee in my system before I deal with feeding cats.

That’s about all I can think of without coffee, my friends. I thought that maybe my cucumber plants were done, but looking out the window, it looks as if the rain has given them a second wind. 😳. Thank God for cucumbers, though. It’s been nice to be able to just share the bounty with others. I do need to check on the baby zucchini, too. Once they are finished, I’ll pull the plants out and sow some lettuce and carrots.

That’s all for now folks. I’m low on energy but coffee will help, and I’m low on groceries. Maybe I just need to get out again. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
