Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 36-37 & Acts Chapter 23 Verses 1-11.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re doing well. It’s going to be another hot one today. A high of 90* and little to no chance of rain.
As my title suggests, I solved a mystery with the help of Lowe’s workers. Y’all know I’ve been trying to find the contractor’s paper to no avail. The web site, though, says that there is some in stock. Up until yesterday, I hadn’t encountered an employee to help me solve the mystery.
Until I went to the paint department.
The two employees there tracked it down for me, and then sent me over to the lumber department. A dude over there helped me find it quickly, and I am now the owner of three rolls of contractor paper. Woo hoo! Mystery solved. Looks like the product was moved to a more relevant area, but the site hadn’t been updated to reflect that.
My neighbor is picking up the fire marshal’s report on her house today, I believe. The insurance company is waiting for that so they can finish everything they need to finish. Sounds like what I thought: faulty electrical wiring. That’s kind of scary because the person who built her house built a majority of the houses on my street, including mine.
In other news, I was able to spend the afternoon yesterday rolling out the paper on the garden. I made enough room for the pumpkin plant to pop out, and voila! It looks so much better. I also sprayed the pumpkin plant with neem oil and picked off quite a bit of squash bug eggs. I’ll have to keep an eye on that. I want pumpkins this year. I also harvested the rest of the onions, but forgot to bring them in yesterday. They’re still lying on the grass.
I’ve already showered, thanks to a small “accident” this morning. That’s all I’ll say about it. I have my first cup of coffee and it looks to be a good Bible reading morning. I’m still a bit behind schedule, but not as bad as yesterday.
That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
