Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 41-43 & Acts Chapter 24.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I have been awake less than 20 minutes. Yeah, I know. I’m really late today. I slept so good! Didn’t really want to get up but I thought I heard Gracie howling. She was not. She did want morning nom noms, though.
We have a wet weather situation today. It was raining pretty steadily when I woke up, but I think it’s gone down to a drizzle. Our high is expected to be 88* with a 30% chance of rain. I think we made that 30%. Works for me! That means my pumpkin plant has been watered.
Pardon me while I take a drink of my coffee.
So, did I make my agenda yesterday? Honestly, I don’t remember my entire agenda, but I did go grocery shopping and I balanced the bank accounts. I didn’t get the boxes out, though. I got some more water purifier filters for the kitchen tap. Um, I can’t remember much else. I grilled chicken for supper and made some mashed potatoes and a veggie blend from the freezer.
The neighbor whose house burnt had a company come yesterday that I will call a local ServPro type business. I really hope she doesn’t just try to gut the house and rebuild. A bunch of that brick is charred, too. I would question the integrity of the structure. I’m not sure what all they did, but they were just leaving when I came home and I was out quite a while. They did board up the windows, though.
I was planning on staying in today, but Mom needs a couple of prescriptions. I think I always plan on staying in on Saturday, and I always end up going out.
I can’t think of anything else, my friends. Thelma and Bengal never showed up for breakfast yesterday, but they were there for supper and they brought Stubby with them. Bengal wanted to be piggy again with the food. He must have a tapeworm or something. I may have to give all three of them a dose of dewormer. We’ll see. He may just be greedy.
That’s all I have for now, folks. It’s taken me almost half an hour to type out something legible. Or at least halfway legible. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
P.S. The title of today’s post is something my mom used to say to get me and my sister up and out of bed. I say it now. Lol.
