More Ramblings

Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 47-49 & Acts Chapter 26.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s currently 75* with 91% humidity. Our forecast for today is a high of 89* with a 60% chance of rain. I believe it. The air feels pretty drippy at the moment.

I have some good news. I actually finished my goals yesterday. I went to Walmart and picked up Mom’s prescriptions, I went to Lowe’s and got my transfer shovel and some neem oil, and I went to Petsmart to get the cat food. I also got my clean laundry folded and put away (after a few days of shuffling it around), and drum roll please…………………………………I put clean sheets on my bed.

*Gasp* Whatever will I do?! I actually made my goals! Ha! Okay, I’m being a bit obnoxious, I know. I almost didn’t make my final goal, though. I was pretty tuckered out from driving around yesterday, and I was just lying on my bed, watching some tv, and the thought came to me–this is the perfect moment to put sheets on. Gracie was out in the living room with Mom, so I didn’t have that obstacle. So, I picked myself up and did it. It was nice to have sheets on again.

I realized I’m running late today. I just fed the cats, and I haven’t read my Bible yet. I’ve gone through two cups of coffee. I also wasn’t sure if I’d taken my medicine or not, so I didn’t take it. That’s my mental state today.

Tonight’s supper is going to be tacos. I haven’t made them in a while, so I’m looking forward to munching down.

Oh! Something else I did yesterday. I made a six week meal plan. Six weeks of dinners that I can rotate. Takes me back to the days of food service. The best part is that I can clean out the pantry and put stuff in there that I know I’ll need for those particular recipes. Another thought is invest in one of those vacuum sealer machines and prep meals in advance. Not cook, but just put certain things together so I can just pull it out of the freezer and voila! A meal. I’d like to learn how to make fried rice, too, so I can make it from scratch. And General Tso’s. I want to learn to make that too.

The pumpkin plant is growing pretty good. I need to check it today.

That’s all for now, folks. I’m WAY behind schedule today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
