A New Week Begins

Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 82-84 & Romans Chapter 8 Verses 18-39.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I’m doing halfway decent. I think I may be coming down with a bit of a cold, though. Summer colds are a thing around here. Not entirely sure why. I remember as a kid getting tonsillitis every August or September, and then it gradually became bronchitis every year, and now it’s a cold of some kind. It always happens around the same time of year, too, so it’s a seasonal thing. Weird.

Anyhoo. Our weather today is going to be sunny with a high of 90*. There’s a 20% chance of rain, but that’s low enough that I can say we’ll probably not see a drop.

It’s currently 7:45 in the morning and I’ve showered, dressed, given Gracie nom noms (she couldn’t wait for Mom to get up), and I’m enjoying my first cup of coffee.

Yesterday was a good chill day. I grilled chicken and checked the temperature, but I’m afraid my piece wasn’t cooked all the way through. Blech. I kind of lost my appetite after that. Tonight’s supper will be baked spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. That garlic will really help my immune system out, too.

Yesterday I worked on my sock. It’s coming along, although I forgot where I had been and had to start the whole thing over. Yeah. That was a bit frustrating, but I’m almost through the first tier of instructions. I’ll probably work on it today. Mondays are chill days.

I can also work on bank account balancing and quiet stuff like that. Since I’m getting a cold and people are freaking out still over ‘Rona, I’ll have groceries delivered this week. I’m almost tempted to do a Bob Ross tutorial, but I think I’ll hold off on that. I only have one canvas left and it’s a big one.

That’s all I have for now, folks. It’s Monday and I’m ready to sit down and work on my sock. I need to feed the cats first, though. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
