Malfunction in my Brain Junction

Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 93-95 & Romans Chapter 11 Verses 17-36.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I’m running on about three hours of sleep, so I apologize in advance for any typos I miss correcting.

I probably misspoke. It’s more like four or five hours of sleep, really. I fell asleep last night. I’m not sure what time, but I woke up with wicked heartburn at 12:30. I deal with heartburn anyways, but this was rough. I was already sleeping on my acid reflux pillow and I woke up choking on acid. From there on out, I didn’t get back to sleep until 4:30 this morning. I had to fold up my reflux pillow into the cubed rectangle, and then I had three pillows on top of that. In other words, I slept sitting up. Still took me a few hours to get back to sleep because I’d nod off and then I’d tip over to the side and the acid would come back up. *Sigh*

I’m not running a fever, which is great, but my ears are stopped up and I can blow my nose at any given point. I think I went through a half box of tissue last night. Just super tired today. I’ll probably fall asleep watching the cyber symposium.

I have a big meeting I’m supposed to be at on Monday night, but I am choosing to stay home to deal with this cold/wicked heartburn. I haven’t had heartburn like this in a few months. I didn’t have a sore throat all day yesterday, but all that acid had made it a bit raw today.

According to our Republican Party rules for our county, as president and executive committeeman of my voting precinct, I can send someone from my precinct to vote as my proxy. That’s my understanding. There’s a bit of a malfunction junction in my brain, so I sent an email to the secretary and asked her if that’s what she was talking about. I had asked her in an email yesterday and she’d written back that I needed to ask a person to be the president. I am the president, though. I don’t know. It’s all very confusing. I don’t see why I can’t contact a person, ask them to vote on my behalf, and then send a letter signed by me saying, ” I’m sick so Person X is voting on my behalf.”

Okay. At this point I’m ranting. I’m sorry. The weather. Our high today is 90* with a 40% chance of rain. We had a gullywasher last night. I was watching it just pour down and all of a sudden it started hailing out. I’d say the hail was marble sized.

So. Today’s agenda. Rest, rest, and more rest. Also pick the trash up and get the details ironed out on what to do about this meeting. My body picked the worst possible time to get sick. I was really looking forward to this meeting so I could learn more about the voting process. We’re going to be talking about a lot of other things as well.

Okay, y’all. I went down a rabbit hole and I completely forgot I was in the middle of typing. For some reason, I was thinking about my Gab account, and I was thinking about whether or not I could afford GabPro. Yes, there are some nasty people on Gab, but I ignore them. There’s nasty people on YouTube, too, but at least Gab isn’t run by people who would cancel my account for saying that I beleive Trump won the 2020 election. Okay. I need to go. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
