Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 96-98 & Romans Chapter 12.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. I actually got some sleep last night! Praise the Lord! I was in bed around 8:30 or 9:00 last night, and dozed a little until about 10:30. Then I woke up with some heartburn and to say I was discouraged was an understatement. I thought I was going to face another night of no sleep. After adjusting my pillows, I put my headphones on and found some classical music to help me sleep. I slept until 7:30 this morning. Yep. Man, I needed that sleep. I woke up and I was still in the same position and my headphones were still on. That’s some good sleep there.
I’ve showered, fed the cats, I have my first cup of coffee for the day, and I’m ready to chat with y’all and then read my Bible.
Gracie is quite the character today. She’s begged nom-noms off of both Mom and me. I caught her trying to eat more plastic. I don’t know how many times I tell her, “Don’t eat the plastic.” She still tries. I know. She’s a cat. She’s like a perpetual toddler. I have seen her go snooping around the house looking for plastic. What a cat. I did manage to distract her with a toy while I picked the plastic up. It was a sandwich bag I’m using to hold scrapbooking stuff and fabric paint in. It must have fallen out of the cupboard.
We’re going to have a sunny day by the looks of things. Our high is expected to be about 92* with a 20% chance of rain.
I was outside feeding the cats this morning and saw several dragonflies. So pretty. One was right next to me, resting on the brick. Beautiful green color. I saw another one the other day that was black and white.
Okay y’all. I went down another rabbit hole, but this one was an email I had to reply to. I’m not going to be able to make my meeting Monday night, and the person I was hoping could be my backup isn’t able to do it either. Fortunately, one of the officers is willing to vote on my behalf is she’s able to. Things are looking up.
That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤
