I Made it Through Monday

Today’s Bible Reading- Psalm Chapters 142-144 & 1 Corinthians Chapter 10 Verses 14-33.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. Our weather today has taken an interesting turn. Our high will be 86° with an 80% chance of rain. Originally, we weren’t expecting any rain, but Ida turned a bit more than what we thought she would. Hey, I’m grateful for any rain we get today.

I did manage to get the Sevin granules spread on the front lawn yesterday morning. I was soaked in sweat and covered in grass once the job was finished. I have some extra granules left in my spreader, so I’m thinking I may spread them out in the back yard before the rain hits.

Pardon me while I go get some coffee.

The birds are really starting to come and enjoy the worms, which is awesome.

Garden planning isn’t in full swing, but I am drooling over the apple trees and peach trees. I may order them separately because it’s going to be an expensive thing. Anyhoo. At least the grass will be thinned out a bit in the back yard. That’ll help me get the wood chips down better.

The meeting last night was not quite a shouting match, but it was definitely a conflict of personality. I understood both sides of the issue, and I even spoke up and gave a couple of suggestions on how to possibly fix the issue. In the end, some people were appeased and others not. We did vote on some things that were past due on voting, so that’s a plus. There was some yelling and interrupting, but tensions are high right now.

Today, Mom wants me to take her out and about, so we’ll be doing that. It’s also taco Tuesday, and that’s always cause for excitement.

That’s all for now, folks. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
