A Basic Day

Today’s Bible Reading- Proverbs Chapters 5-6 & 1 Corinthians Chapter 14 Verses 1-19.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. Yesterday was a beautiful day. Our high was expected to be 89°, but we barely made it to 84°. I didn’t even have to turn my air conditioner on at all yesterday! Today is supposed to be around 85° with no chance of rain. It’s currently about 60°. Just another beautiful day.

Mom and I went out yesterday and didn’t get home until around 5:00. The line at the bank was wrapped around the building, and the dollar store had some issues with a gift card we were trying to purchase. We ended up not getting it because of the hassle it was causing. It wasn’t our fault or the cashiers’ fault. Both ladies were trying. Corporate has demanded that only two gift cards be sold per hour and only by cash. It’s ridiculous. I wonder if they’re trying to phase the cards out entirely. Anyhoo.

I did get the banana bread made. Thank You, Jesus, I had enough flour! This time, I also measured out the banana. I ended up having enough mashed banana for another loaf of bread, so I put it in a freezer bag and popped it into the freezer for future use. The bread came out delicious though! Soft and moist and delicious slathered with butter.

I’m glad it’s Saturday. I want to work on my sock today. I also have laundry to do. It’s quite the pile. Not as bad as the last time, but a decent amount. Pardon me while I go get my second cup of coffee.

Okay. So beyond needing to do laundry, I think I may try to get the pile of boxes over to the recycling center today. Monday is a holiday, so I want to be sure to get them out. Since going back to ordering cat food online, the boxes are starting to pile up again.

That’s all I have for now, folks. It’s just a basic Saturday today. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
