Today’s Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 7-9 & Galatians Chapter 4.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s a chilly and foggy 53° right now. 🥶. I have a feeling, though, that our false fall is over. Our high today will be 84° and sunny. That’s okay, though. I’m going to enjoy the weather changes.
I’ve been up for about an hour now, but I haven’t accomplished anything yet. I’m waiting for that joy juice, that elixir of life, God’s second gift to mankind: coffee.☕️
Mom has some lab work that needs to be done today, and she has to fast for it, so I imagine that we’ll head out of here somewhere between 8:00 and 9:00 this morning.
That means I need to get my act together. I’m in need of a good shower, some time with Jesus, and I really need some coffee. It’s just one of those mornings.
I did finish my laundry, but I need to put the last load away. It’s folded up and sitting in the living room, waiting for me to do that. I also made progress on my sock’s mate. I was able to chug along on it yesterday because we lost our internet late Saturday afternoon until yesterday just before lunch. I don’t know what happened, but we had no internet, so no Roku, no landline, nothing. The house was so quiet. It was nice, really. A break from everything.
Mom got a little antsy because she wanted to hear the news, but I was fine.
So, today’s goals are coffee and get mom’s lab work in. And put my clothes away. I’m sorry, y’all. It’s Monday.
That’s all for now. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
