Volcanoes and Chatter

Today’s Bible Reading- Isaiah Chapters 13-18 & Ephesians Chapter 1.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It was foggy this morning, but it’s lifting as the sun comes up. It’s 59° now, but our high is expected to be 86° today. ☀️

I’ve been keeping an eye on La Palma, and last night as I was heading to bed, the lava flow started running into the ocean. Yikes! Today the volcano seems pretty angry and the lava is still hitting the ocean as we speak. I don’t know if the cameraman is shaking or if they’re having a bunch of earthquakes, but the YouTube channel I’m watching is pretty shaky at times. The channel is ‘afar tv’, and I’m watching the Feed #2 of La Palma.

Mom’s appointment went well yesterday and everything came back normal, thank the Lord. By the time she was done, I was halfway baked from sitting in the car. Thus, we ended up getting tacos from a restaurant instead of me cooking them. Maybe I’ll make some burgers for lunch or something. Tonight is supposed to be hash, but we’ll see what happens.

I’m expecting a couple of packages today. One was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but it never came. That’s my Halloween trick or treat supplies. There’s a few little ones on my street now, so I purchased some items that little ones would enjoy.

I did track the package, and it was transferred to the local post office, so I’ll likely get it today if they don’t play around.

Gracie is enjoying her morning nap while I write. I gave her litter box a good scrub yesterday. I also need to order some more of her prescription food. I may clean her fountain out today as well.

Pop’s job may be finishing up this weekend, and he’s got a couple of potential jobs lined up. I completely forgot to water the cucumber plant yesterday. I’ll do that this morning since it’s going to be pretty hot today.

I’m tempted to invest in a dehydrator. I think it would be beneficial, especially with me growing herbs. It’s a lot of money to invest, though, and we don’t really have a lot of space to put things at the moment.

Some good news, though! The mums are getting ready to bloom! Next season, I’ll probably just purchase some flowers locally and plop them in the planters.

That’s all I have for today, folks. I’m keeping an eye on the volcano. Should it break off into the ocean, we’d likely see a small tsunami on the East Coast of the United States. Not a “megatsunami” like some people are trying to say will happen. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends. ❤️
