Getting Things Done

Today’s Bible Reading- Jeremiah Chapter 52-Lamentations Chapter 2 & Hebrews Chapters 6-7.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s another beautiful day here today. Sunny with a high of 75°. No rain in sight for today, but there is rain in the forecast.

I decided to make the eggs and bacon for breakfast this morning, so I’m going to have to pull a meal out of my hat for supper tonight. It was delicious, though.

Gracie is snoozing on the bed. She was acting like she was a bit cold, so I’ve turned the little heater on. It is a bit chilly in here, though.

I’ve been watching La Palma this morning. They had a 5.4 earthquake this morning and right after the volcano starting roaring to life with heavy black smoke. It’s still pumping out heavy black smoke as of this writing, so we’ll see what happens today. I can’t even imagine how the people on the island are managing all this. Wow. I’d be packing up and hightailing myself out of there.

I did a little work outside this morning. I took the tomato plants out, added more wood mulch, gave them a good water, and then I wrapped some garden twine around the bamboo stakes to help the plants prop up. While I was going in the backyard to retrieve some mulch, I noticed that the cucumber plant is STILL going! Oh my word! How crazy is that?! I thought it was dead for sure because we’ve had a few nights dip into the 30s. Nope. I harvested four cucumbers today.

I also watered the herbs, the begonia, and the “mosquito weed” aka castor plant.

In addition to gardening, I’ve paid two bills and have them out in the mailbox, and I also washed my hair today. It was super dry so I gave it a good conditioning. It seems to be a bit happier now and much less itchy.

That’s all I have for now, folks. I’m getting distracted with La Palma live feeds and I need to find some lunch. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends! ❤
