Welcome to Monday

Today’s Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 7-9 & Hebrews Chapter 10 Verses 26-39.

Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s going to be a sunny but cold day today. Our high will only be 58°! 🥶

It’s turned out to be quite the Monday already. Gracie gave up a hair ball on my bed, I managed to burn my croissant, and I woke up with a terrible sinus headache.

Hopefully things will improve today. My coffee is good, though, so that’s a plus.

I’ve ignored my laundry too much already, so I need to focus on that today. I also need to vacuum my room.

Yesterday I made a surprisingly delicious dinner. I think the Lord decided to help me out. I’m not a fan of pork unless it’s bbq or bacon, but my mom loves pork chops. I made a coating of bread crumbs and pork chop seasoning ( Weber has a seasoning called ‘Steak & Chop’—it’s delicious), then scrambled an egg and thinned it with some milk. I dipped the chops in the egg wash and then coated them in the bread crumb mix. I then fried the chops in a preheated skillet using butter instead of oil.

For the side, I heated up some mixed vegetables and made some mashed potatoes. I was almost ready to serve the meal, but had the thought to make some milk gravy with the meat drippings. I’m glad I did. It was delicious! Mom complimented me several times.

I haven’t looked at the menu yet to confirm, but I believe we may be having chicken and yellow rice tonight.

That’s about all I have for today, folks. I have a meeting to go to today and I need to nurse this headache. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
