Today’s Bible Reading- Ezekiel Chapters 17-19 & Hebrews Chapter 13.
Good morning, my friends. I hope you’re well. It’s another sunny day here today. Our high will be 73° with a 20% chance of rain.
I was a busy bee yesterday. I went out and bought some shoes, and then made a trip to pick up insulin.
I made the chicken and rice last night, but we ended up not eating it. Why? Well………I burnt the rice. Yep. So I had cereal and Mom had some cereal.
I didn’t burn breakfast this morning, though! That’s a plus. I’m trying to break in my new shoes, too. 😳. I got used to my slightly wider PF Flyers, and now I have these narrower shoes. One plus is that these shoes have arch support. That’s nice. I tried to put my heel lift in yesterday, but it made my heel hurt so much that I took it out.
I think I’ve figured out what I need to do for Thanksgiving dinner. I’ll preorder three individual plates from Cracker Barrel, or even Golden Corral. Pop will be driving in Thanksgiving morning, and we’ll head out for Atlanta after dinner. It’ll be a fairly long drive, but I think taking the back way will be less stressful.
Friday will be spent hanging out with my sister and her family, and then on Saturday we’ll see them off to the airport and then head home.
Mom and I have already started discussing Christmas and whether or not we should go up North this year. I’m not opposed to it this year like I have been the last few years, but if it’s bad weather (i.e. ice, snow), we probably won’t go. I’ve already found a hotel near my Gram’s house that is pet friendly, too, so that’s a plus. We just need to keep an eye on the weather.
That’s about all I have for today, folks. I need to work on the bank accounts and I have quite a few boxes that need to go to the recycling center. Love you all and until next time, stay safe my friends.❤️
